Joey Silverman

Joey Silverman is a professional voice over actor, singer, cabaret producer and retired pediatric dentist who bears a striking resemblance to singer Billy Joel (people ask for his autograph all the time). Based in New Jersey, he also has a home in Jerusalem where he played Tevye in Fiddler on The Roof. 

Joey’s unique ability to deeply connect with all types of audiences, through words and music, makes him an in-demand leader at worship services and a popular performer in entertainment productions. 

His in-depth, professional background in dentistry makes him a natural for medical narration and health care voice overs where producers trust his ability to deliver even the most complex technical narrations with compassion and care. 

In his spare time, Joey loves playing poker, but working with this talented voice actor is never a gamble.

  • Absolutely. I’m happy to provide a sample recording of your script so you can hear if my voice is a good fit for your project. Simply send me a copy of your script and any performance notes.

  • I’m happy to record via a live directed session, or provide a full read of your project once booked. One (1) round of revisions are included with most projects, but this may vary. Please contact me for a quote.

  • It depends on a few factors. How long you plan to use the recording, where it will be distributed, and if there will be paid placement (aka. marketing).

    The industry standard for voice over artists is the Global Voice Acting Academies Rate Guide (More commonly known as the GVAA Rate guide.)
